What cause the seasons?

What causes the Seasons on Earth? You may be wandering what causes it. You see, the Earth is on a tilt and the axis that we revolve around causes it. Due to that tilt when we revolve around Sun is when it changes seasons. So when the Northern Hemisphere is facing the Sun its summer. But when its not facing the sun is when it is winter here in the Northern Hemisphere. As you can see the reasons that we have seasons are because of the Earths tilt.

ZOOM, by: Istvan Banyai

Zoom gives a lot of people a perspective of how big and yet how small our world is. In the video of " Powers of Ten " on you tube. The video shows you how small our world is on video from galaxies away. Yet, it also shows you how big it is from our point of view. Zoom is great book of how so many people make wrong inferences about how big our world is when its really small. Zoom and Powers of Ten are very much alike.

Perspective, what an amazing word. Perspective means to have a view of something. That is exactly what my classmates and i did when we read/viewed the book Zoom and watched Powers of Ten. You may not know this but everyday you use perspective. Even when you reading your still using perspective.

Many scientists use perspective too. Everyone does, scientists especially use it in astronomy. Many Astronimists use perspectives to make views of things we never seen before. They use perspective so well they can even determine how many years it will take before the world has made one full rotation on its axis. That's how precise and accurate the data must be that they collect from satellites in outer space.

As you can see we, whether you know it or not use perspective in our everyday lives.
